Plans and pricing
#Plans and pricing
Form Builder offers four plans to fit stores of every size — from a single contact form on a new store to unlimited forms with advanced integrations on a high-traffic shop. All plans are billed through Shopify, so charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
#Plans overview
| Free | Starter | Growth | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $0 | $4.99/mo | $7.99/mo | $14.99/mo |
| Yearly price | — | $47.90/yr | $76.70/yr | $143.90/yr |
| Forms | 3 | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Submissions per month | 100 | 500 | 2,000 | 10,000 |
| File upload storage | None | 10 MB | 20 MB | 100 MB |
| AI form generations per month | 3 | 10 | 30 | Unlimited |
Yearly billing gives you a discount compared to paying monthly — roughly two months free over the course of a year.
#Feature comparison
Here's a detailed look at which features are available on each plan:
| Feature | Free | Starter | Growth | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Form builder (drag-and-drop) | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| All field types | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Form templates (31 templates) | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| AI form generation | 3/mo | 10/mo | 30/mo | Unlimited |

| Conditional logic | — | — | Yes | Yes |
| Webhooks and API access | — | — | — | Yes |

Multi-step forms let you break a long form into multiple pages with a stepper navigation bar. This is great for surveys, multi-part applications, and order forms where you want to guide customers through sections one at a time.
Remove branding hides the "Powered by Cruxtab Form Builder" text that appears at the bottom of your forms on the Free plan.
Conditional logic lets you show or hide fields based on how a customer answers another field. See our conditional logic guide for details.
#Integration access by plan
Different integrations unlock at different plan levels:
| Integration | Free | Starter | Growth | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| reCAPTCHA (spam protection) | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |

If you need a specific integration, check which plan includes it and upgrade accordingly. You can see full setup instructions for each integration in our integrations guide.
#Monthly usage tracking
Form Builder tracks three types of monthly usage, and each resets at the beginning of every calendar month:
Submissions
Every form response counts as one submission toward your monthly limit. The count includes all submissions across all your forms combined.
| Plan | Monthly limit |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 |
| Starter | 500 |
| Growth | 2,000 |
| Pro | 10,000 |
If you hit your submission limit, new submissions will be blocked until the next month or until you upgrade your plan. Your existing forms stay visible on your storefront, but customers won't be able to submit responses.
File upload storage
If your forms include file upload fields, each uploaded file counts toward your monthly storage quota. The quota tracks the total bytes uploaded in the current month.
| Plan | Monthly storage limit |
|---|---|
| Free | No file uploads |
| Starter | 10 MB |
| Growth | 20 MB |
| Pro | 100 MB |
Files are stored securely on AWS S3. The storage counter resets each month, so you get a fresh allowance every billing cycle.
AI form generations
Using the AI form generator (where you describe a form in plain language and the app builds it for you) counts toward your monthly AI generation limit.
| Plan | Monthly limit |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Starter | 10 |
| Growth | 30 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
#Usage warnings
Your dashboard shows progress bars for each usage metric so you can see where you stand at a glance. The app also alerts you when you're approaching your limits:
- 80% threshold — A warning appears letting you know you're getting close to your limit. This is a good time to consider upgrading if you expect continued growth.
- 90% threshold — A more urgent warning appears. If you're this close to your limit, upgrading now will prevent any interruption to your forms.
These warnings appear on your dashboard and help you stay ahead of any potential issues.
#Upgrading your plan
You can upgrade your plan at any time from the Pricing page in the app:
- Open the Form Builder app in your Shopify admin.
- Click Pricing in the sidebar.
- Toggle between Monthly and Yearly billing if you prefer annual pricing.
- Click the Upgrade button on the plan you want.
- Confirm the subscription through Shopify's billing approval flow.
Your new plan takes effect immediately. You'll have instant access to higher limits and additional features. Shopify handles the prorated billing — you only pay for what you use.
#Downgrading your plan
You can also downgrade to a lower plan:
- Go to the Pricing page.
- Select the plan you want to switch to.
- Confirm the change.
When downgrading, keep these things in mind:
- Form limits: If you have more forms than the new plan allows, your existing forms won't be deleted, but you won't be able to create new ones until you're within the limit.
- Feature access: Features not included in the new plan (like conditional logic or certain integrations) will stop working on your published forms. The configuration is preserved, so if you upgrade again later, everything comes back.
- Usage limits: Your monthly submission, storage, and AI generation limits will adjust to the new plan immediately.
#Choosing the right plan
Here's a quick guide to help you decide:
- Free — You're just getting started, have a single store with a contact form, and want to test the app before committing. Limited to 3 forms and 100 submissions per month.
- Starter — You need more forms, file upload capability, and want to remove branding. Google Sheets integration is a big draw here. Good for small stores with moderate traffic.
- Growth — You need conditional logic, email marketing integrations (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Brevo), and higher submission limits. Great for growing stores that are actively building their customer base.
- Pro — You want everything: unlimited forms, 10,000 submissions per month, Slack and Zapier integrations, 100 MB of upload storage, unlimited AI generation, webhooks, and priority support. Ideal for high-traffic stores and agencies.
